1. Data Controller
Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by Ilim, Irfan, Ihsan... (UMDE) as the data controller, as described below.
2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Execution and follow-up of donation transactions
Fulfillment of legal obligations (tax receipts, audits, etc.)
Assessment of volunteer applications
Conducting communication activities
Providing information about association activities
Sending informational messages regarding donations via WhatsApp
Website usage analysis and improvement
3. Personal Data Collected
UMDE collects the following personal data:
Identity Information: Name, surname, Turkish ID number
Contact Information: Email address, phone number, address
Financial Information: Bank account details, donation amounts (credit card information is not stored)
Technical Data: IP address, cookies, browser information
4. Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
Your explicit consent
Where explicitly required by law
Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract
Necessity for compliance with legal obligations of the data controller
Necessity for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that such processing does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject
5. Data Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the period required for the purposes of processing and for the duration stipulated by applicable legal obligations. Donation records are retained for at least 5 years due to legal requirements.
6. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:
To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information if your personal data has been processed
To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad
To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data
To request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with Article 7 of the KVKK
To object to any outcome arising against you through analysis performed exclusively via automated systems
To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your personal data
