UMDE visited the Orphans' Home in Ghazni, Afghanistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and delivered the zakat donated by philanthropists to orphan children in need. Within the scope of the aid activity, dozens of children received holiday gifts, food packages and basic necessities.
During the visit, UMDE staff took a close interest in the children who were not left alone and experienced the joy of Eid together. The smile that appeared on the faces of the children and the hope that sprouted in their hearts was the most beautiful reflection of solidarity and compassion.
UMDE officials emphasized that the aids were realized with the support of charitable donors and made the following statements: “Eid is a time when we remember the spirit of being a nation and feel the blessing of sharing deeply. We sincerely thank all our donors who entrust us with their zakat and donations. Every contribution to this charity is reciprocated as hope and brotherhood in oppressed geographies.”
Thousands of orphans were made happy this Eid thanks to the donors who have the responsibility to share the blessings given to them in accordance with Allah's command "Give them out of what you have and out of what Allah has given you...” (Surah Nur, Verse 33).
UMDE not only provides material support through its activities, but also reinforces the brotherhood in the geography of the world by strengthening spiritual ties. Eid is an opportunity to strengthen this unity and solidarity.
Çünkü Eid is not just a tradition; it is the holiday of goodness, compassion and sharing.
