Gaza Toilet and Shower Campaign

The ongoing conflict and widespread displacement across the Gaza Strip have caused extensive damage to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure. Thousands of displaced people living in tented camps are forced to rely on an insufficient number of shared toilets and shower facilities, while limited access to clean water continues to increase the risk of disease and poor hygiene. These conditions disproportionately affect women, children, older people, and those with chronic health conditions, making everyday life increasingly difficult. This project seeks to improve access to essential sanitation services by installing safe and hygienic toilet and shower facilities in displacement camps across Gaza. By easing pressure on overcrowded communal facilities, enhancing privacy, and improving hygiene standards, the project will help create safer, healthier, and more dignified living conditions for displaced families.
