BYLAWS of “(UMDE) Knowledge, Wisdom, Benevolence”
Article 1 – Name and Headquarters
The name of the association is “UMDE”, and its motto is Knowledge, Wisdom, Benevolence...
The headquarters of the association is located in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Article 2 – Purpose of the Association
The association is established with the aim of contributing to the elimination of oppression, ignorance, and division within the Islamic world, and serving humanity within the framework of knowledge, wisdom, and benevolence.
In line with this purpose, it carries out activities in the fields of education, healthcare, food security, social solidarity, and cultural initiatives.
Article 3 – Fields of Activity
• Providing food, clothing, shelter, and educational assistance to those in need both domestically and internationally
• Constructing sustainable projects such as water wells, schools, madrasas, and dormitories
• Organizing Qurbani (sacrificial offering) campaigns
• Implementing orphan sponsorship programs
• Providing scholarship and educational support programs
• Organizing medical screenings and healthcare assistance
• Conducting cultural and social activities
Article 4 – Membership Conditions
Any natural or legal person with legal capacity who adopts the objectives and principles of the association and agrees to work in accordance with them is eligible to become a member of the association.
